Rachel Bauer was born and raised in Montana. After graduating high school, she studied photography at Montana State University in Bozeman. Since then she has lived many lives, from bartending, coffee, or farming to working as a shipwrights apprentice, landscaping, and woodworking. In 2017 Rachel chose to leave the mountains of the west behind for the seaside life of the East Coast in Maine. Between now and then she has always had a camera close at hand. Using it to turn strangers into friends, and document the big moments of those closest to her.
